Attorney Mark Tate participated in a back-to-school event at Cann Park in June 2020, where he spoke to community activists and representatives about problems the community has been facing. It was then that a matching campaign was born: If We Love Cann Park raised $5,000 in donations, he would match that amount. We are happy to report that, on March 23, 2021, this fundraising goal was met, and we presented a $5,000 check to benefit the community.
